History

New Wave Group AB was founded in 1990 in Sweden by Mr. Torsten Jansson, nowadays a legend in entrepreneurship in Sweden. First offices were established in south of Sweden and in Norway.

 

Ever since it start New Wave Group AB has grown organically and by acquisitions to become one of the fastest growing companies in Europe and with an annual growth of about 37% per year from 1992.

 

New Wave Group AB's range of products go from corporate and promotional clothes to work wear to promo gifts, sports clothes, children's clothes and home interior and exclusive gift assortments through the brands Orrefors and Kosta Boda.

 

Today New Wave Group AB is one the worldwide market leaders within the industry, with representation in more than 25 countries (Europe, Asia, USA) and 50 companies and more than 55 brands.

 

Since 2005 CJSC New Wave Group has been representing New Wave Group AB in the Russian market, and has since then become one of the most established brands and companies in the Russian promotional and corporate clothes industry.

2002 - Acquisitions of DJ Frantextil, X-Tend and the

Toppoint group.


2003 - Establishments in China and Switzerland,

establishment of ProJob Workwear.


2004 - Acquisitions of Swedish Match Advertising Products,

D.A.D. Sportswear and Jobman.


2005 - Acquisitions of the Dahetra group, Intraco and

the Orrefors Kosta Boda group, establishments in Ireland,

Wales, Russia and Austria.

 

2007 - Acquisition of Cutter & Buck.
